The Professional Employment Model operates in a similar way to umbrella with the main difference being the worker is on a fixed worker rate for the hours worked.

Employment costs are notified back to the agency and these are generally settled separately.

Following the announcement in The Finance Bill 2026 of Joint and Several Liability these arrangements will be caught by the new legislation.

These providers have met the standards required for our operational processes and procedures review.

We will be integrating this service in to the Fortis Platform, once completed we will be able to offer protection in relation to the Joint and Several Lability legislation.

This will require use of the Fortis system to validate the payment calculations and Joint and Several Liability.
